(57)【要約】 【目的】 電極に高電圧を印可できない放電灯において も瞬時再点灯が可能な高圧パルス発生装置を提供するこ とを目的とする。 【構成】 入力電圧を昇圧する1次昇圧トランス1、1 次昇圧トランス1による昇圧電圧を整流する高圧ダイオ ード2、高圧ダイオード2による整流電圧により充電さ れる高圧コンデンサ3、整流電圧がしきい値に到達する と導通する放電ギャップスイッチ4、放電ギャップスイ ッチ4の導通により高圧コンデンサ3が放電して発生す る放電電圧を昇圧する2次昇圧トランス5とを有する高 圧パルス発生装置において、2次昇圧トランス5の1次 コイルと2次コイルの巻き数比を1:1〜1:1.75 に設定する。
PURPOSE: To light a discharge lamp again at once while suppressing the applied voltage to the discharge lamp to about 10KVop by making the ratio of the numbers of winding of a primary coil and a secondary coil of a secondary voltage step-up transformer. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage pulse generating apparatus which can carry out lighting a discharge lamp again at once while suppressing the applied voltage to the electrodes of the discharge lamp to about 10KVop is materialized by improving the ratio of the numbers of winding of a primary coil and a secondary coil of a secondary voltage raising transformer 5 in the high voltage pulse generating apparatus. In the case the ratio of the numbers of turn is set to be 1:1, the output pulse wave height value becomes about 6.28KVop and pulse width becomes about 820ns. Also, in the case the ratio of the numbers of turn is set to be 1:1.75, the output pulse wave height value becomes about 10.31KVop and pulse width becomes about 880ns. High voltage pulses with not higher than 10KVop raised voltage are generated by setting the ratio of the numbers of winding of the primary coil and the secondary coil of the secondary voltage raising transformer to be 1:1.75 and with the high voltage pulses, even in the case high voltage can not be applied to the electrodes, a discharge lamp can be lighted again at once.
