Abstract

(57)【要約】 【構成】ポリエステルからなる二軸配向フィルムにおい て、熱機械特性試験機による昇温・降温時の伸縮量から 求めたフィルム機械方向の真の収縮量の微分曲線におい て、ガラス転移点以上200℃以下の範囲で収縮量微分 値dL/dTが常に0.01%/℃以下であり、フィル ム機械方向の190℃で20分の熱収縮率が1.0%以 下であることを特徴とする低熱収縮性ポリエステルフィ ルム。 【効果】本発明のポリエステルフィルムにより、熱収縮 が小さく、また平面性の良いフィルムをコストアップす ることなく得ることができ、OHPや電気絶縁材料など において、収縮やカール、たるみなどの問題が生じるこ とのない、しかも、安価な材料を提供することが可能に なる。
PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester film reduced in its heat shrinkage factor inexpensively and sufficiently in the machine direction and having good flatness by specifying the shrink quantity differential value and heat shrinkage factor in the differential curve of the real shrink quantity in the machine direction of the film calculated from the extension and retraction quantities at the times of temp. rise and temp. drop due to a thermal and mechanical characteristic tester. CONSTITUTION: In a biaxially oriented film composed of polyester, the shrink quantity differential value dL/dT of the film is always set to 0.01%/°C or less within a range from the glass transition point of polyester to 200°C in the differential curve of the real shrink quantity in the machine direction of the film calculated from the extension and retraction quantities at the times of temp. rise and temp. drop due to a thermal and mechanical characteristic tester. Further, the 20-min heat shrinkage factor in the machine direction of the film at 190°C is set to 1.0% or less. Therefore, heat treatment temp. is set to the range from the start temp. of a melting endothermic peak in DSC to the temp. of the apex of the peak. In order to absorb reversible shrinkage accompanied by cooling from the heat treatment of a tenter, a clip interval is contracted while the film is grasped by the clips of the tenter.
